Plans and fees
One yearly plan, with a set amount of sales included. 0% fees on every sale your plan covers, then 2% of sales past it.

Every plan has every screen. Move up any time, down at renewal. Going over never stops a sale. Your processor's own fees are separate.
How billing works
- Test mode is always free. Your plan starts when your first app goes live. Until then nothing is charged, and there's no card to add.
- Sales are counted over your last 12 months, gross, in US dollars at each day's rate. Refunds are taken off.
- You pick your plan. You pay its price for the year, plus 2% of sales past what it includes.
- Past your plan's sales, 2% of the extra, billed monthly once it reaches $10.
- At 80% of your plan's sales, we tell you what's projected, and whether moving up would cost less.
- Your processor's fees come out in your Stripe, PayPal, Polar, Razorpay or Paystack account. We never take a cut of a sale.
Two examples
- $1,500 of sales in a year on Starter: $9, plus 2% of the $500 past $1,000: $19. Pro would cost $99, so Starter is right.
- $12,000 of sales in a year: on Starter, $9 plus 2% of $11,000: $229. On Pro, $99 plus 2% of $2,000: $139. Moving up to Pro saves you $90.
What each plan allows
- Starter sells up to 3 paid apps. A fourth can't go live until you move up: it's one of the go-live checks.
- Subscriptions and offers need the Pro or Studio plan. To move down to Starter with live subscription apps, move them to one-time prices first.
- Trials and refunds are on every plan.
- Teams need the Studio plan. Starter and Pro are for one person. The Studio plan includes 3 people, then $5 a month for each extra person. See Studios and team members.
Extras
Anything that leaves the watch besides payments is an extra. The four come together for $15 a month per studio, on any plan. No plan includes them. Turn them on or off in Billing, Extras. Each one still goes into an app on its own, so an app carries only the code it uses.

- Data feeds are also billed by use: $2 a million requests from live watches and live API keys, added to your monthly bill on the 1st. Test watches and test keys are free.
- Setting them up: see Extras in your app. A new folder means a new build of your app.
- Every plan keeps the payment data: the buy screen, scans, checkouts, payments, unlocks, active watches and the buyer's country.
- Test watches get every extra free, so you can build with one before you pay for it.
- Extras start once your plan's first bill is paid. The first month bills when you turn them on, then monthly. Turning them off stops all four at once, with nothing refunded.
Moving plans
Compare the plans in Billing.
- Moving up starts at once. You pay the difference between the two yearly prices then: $90 from Starter to Pro, $200 from Pro to Studio. Your renewal date stays the same.
- Moving down starts at your renewal. Until then you keep everything your plan has. The difference isn't refunded.
If a plan payment fails
We try again and remind you on days 0, 3, 7 and 14. Buyers can still pay until then. From day 15, new checkouts pause until it's paid. Watches that paid stay unlocked, always.
Statements and invoices
- A statement each month: your sales, refunds and what we charged, as CSV, in Billing, Statements.
- Invoices for your plan come from Stripe Billing. Your card is kept by Stripe, never by us.
- Business details and tax IDs for our invoices are in Settings, Studio details.
